Take your sewing to the next level by learning a few simple tricks that will help your sewing be more successful. Students will learn to sew casings, buttons, buttonholes and a centered zipper as well as a discussion and demo with samples of fusible interfacing. These skills will give students the confidence and vocabulary needed to take on garment construction. You will build a library of sewn samples and are encouraged to bring your personal sewing machine as long as the machine is in proper working order. This class is intended for students who have basic sewing machine experience and know how to thread a machine and bobbin, sew straight lines, back stitch and zigzag.

All materials for this class are included in the tuition, you will leave with a series of sewn samples and reference handouts.
