| Improve your skills and explore new techniques while working on great projects. Master Classes are project based classes that introduce complicated and challenging techniques with the guidance of a skilled instructor. Apply skills learned in "The Basics" and Intermediate classes and add new techniques to your tool box. |
Classes are by reservation only, register online with paypal or stop by during our regular business hours; Tuesday through Friday noon-7pm, Saturdays noon-5pm .

 | Machine Maintenance Comprehensive techniques for self-sufficiency
Our resident repairman will discuss with you proper care and cleaning of your machine, preventative maintenance as well as what to look for when purchasing a new or used sewing machine.
Learn basic maintenance and trouble-shooting, as well as an overview of textiles, sewing machines and their technologies. You will learn how to choose the right material and select proper needles, thread, feet and accessories for your projects. |
 | Build a Brassiere Nothing says custom like a hand-made bra! You will learn to draft your own bra pattern and be guided through the fitting process, once adjusted this pattern will serve you for years to come!
We will cover all construction techniques in the mock up giving ample time to practice. |

Understand and control dart manipulation and the various techniques used when contouring the 2D fabric to cover the curves of the 3D human body.

Journey-woman Melody Rossiter of outerunderthings.com leads a six week course in the essential design and construction techniques of corset making.
We will focus on drafting and building a Custom Corset Pattern using late Victorian (1860-1900) construction techniques. |
 | Wire Wrapping Solder-less wire wrapping and stone setting
Bill will open up his tool box and share with you his decades of metal working and rock hounding experience. Learn techniques in scroll work, cage building and heavy gauge bending.
Day one starts with single stone pendants, day two introduces bracelets. On day three start working small with rings in preparation for day four, multi-stone settings and freestyle half round wraps. |
