Bring to class a paper pattern in your size and we will cover pattern alteration techniques like slashing and spreading. Gain an understanding of grading lines and how to use them to your advantage and make simple style changes.

Commercial Patterns Seminar is strongly encouraged as a pre-requisite for this class.

Learn pattern terminology and what the information on and in the pattern envelope means- such as measurements and sizing, fabric suggestions as well as learning how to take accurate measurements.

Do you know when to change your needle or oil your bobbin hook? Learn basic maintenance and trouble-shooting, an overview of textiles, sewing machines, and how to choose the right material, select proper needles, thread, feet and accessories for your projects.
