Take your skills to the next level with advanced techniques. Unlock the potential of your serger or learn to use one of ours in our serger workshop before triple-zipping in our 'zipper boot camp', then add some flair with decorative and finishing techniques.

You must attend the first class. Classes can be rescheduled between weekend times and in-week class offerings. Be sure to give at least 48-hour notice to transfer enrollment; please see individual classes for make-up dates.

Unit 3 - Advanced

Class 1: Serger Techniques
Get to know the overlock sewing machine in this hands-on 3 hour class.

Class 2: Triple Zipper
Learn to sew a Lapped, Fly Front and Invisible zipper.

Class 3: Decorative Finishing
Learn techniques for sewing French Seams, Elastic smocking, lace appliqué, sewing with the bobbin thread, using the feed dogs to ease as well as gathering and ruffling feet.
All materials for all classes are included.
