| Have you been to Seamsters lately? They're in their new space - and it's at least twice the size of their old space. We're so lucky to have this resource here in Portland - and even more lucky, as Sewing Circle members, to get four full hours for the rock-bottom price of $5 per person! We'll be working in a truly dedicated sewing space, with all the necessaries: irons, measuring tapes, cutting tables and decent lighting! You can even rent a sewing machine for another $5 - whatta deal! Also, Seamsters is now selling certified used machines! A few may be available to check out if you're in the market. |

Ready ... Set ... Sew! | Do you love to sew? Or are you just learning? There's no better way to improve than with a like-minded, friendly bunch of fellow stitchers! There is a donation requested for some meetings ($2-$10) while others are free - and it's free to join. We sew together, fit together, trace and cut out patterns together. There is always loads of experience and knowledge available, but we're joining together for community, not as a "class". You'll learn a lot, but in a relaxed, organic way, always working on your own individual project. |
| Beginners are more than welcome, so don't sweat it if you don't even know how to thread a machine. A supportive group is the best way to learn! | |
