Make a fully lined messenger bag
with 3-section patch pocket and button closure.
5 hour class -
This casual fun and easy bag is simple to make and fun to wear! Fast and easy, you will learn to make bags and accessories from a pattern provided in class. Modify the size and shape of your bag to suit your needs. Add interior or exterior pockets for your phone, etc. -- bring an old belt to re-purpose into a self-adjusting bag strap!

This class can be repeated for further instruction on multiple pattern styles.
Group Sessions by appointment
for 3 to 8 people.
Materials required for class:

1/2 to 1 yard heavy duty woven fabric (Denim, twill, upholstery, canvas)
1/2 to 1 yard mid weight woven fabric

optional 1-1/3 yard webbing (and desired strap hardware -- toggles, sliders, etc..)

Please arrive to class with your fabric pre-shrunk!

It is important to pre-shrink your fabric FIRST so your project will maintain it's size after laundering.

The rule of thumb is to pretreat the fabric in the fashion you would launder the garment. EX: dry clean silk for a dress you intend to dry clean
